The project MetaRoboLearn explores the field of computer-supported learning based on the seamless learning approach through metaverse technology.
The seamless learning approach fosters the synergy of formal, non-formal, and informal learning environments, while the metaverse enables the use of a wide range of technologies, including virtual and augmented reality. This approach facilitates the acquisition of knowledge in formal learning environments, which then flows into non-formal and informal settings and vice versa, thereby strengthening knowledge and stimulating its application in different contexts.
The metaverse brings together various technological solutions such as virtual and augmented reality devices, as well as tablets, smartphones, educational robots, and other STEM tools. This technological heterogeneity poses a challenge in designing seamless learning environments, as the technologies used are often incompatible and difficult to synchronize.
